How to submit a report\/complaint\/complaint<\/strong><\/p>

The Order of Physiotherapists has a Jurisdictional Council which, among other competences, can instruct and judge disciplinary proceedings against members of the Order. There is a procedure for registering and analysing all complaints submitted, depending on their nature, which requires a response to the person or entity that submitted the complaint, and the respective referral. 1 \u2013 Health Regulatory Authority (ERS)<\/span><\/p>

The ERS's mission is to regulate the activity of healthcare establishments in the public, private, co-operative and social sectors. Its remit includes supervising the activities of healthcare establishments, in particular with regard to compliance with the requirements for exercising the activity and operating, including the licensing of establishments, guaranteeing rights relating to access to healthcare, the provision of quality healthcare and other user rights, and verifying the legality and transparency of economic relations between the various operators, funding bodies and users. 2 \u2013 Public Prosecutor's Office (MP)<\/span><\/p>

The Public Prosecutor's Office (Minist\u00e9rio P\u00fablico - MP) is a constitutional body with the power to prosecute, participate in the implementation of criminal policy defined by the sovereign bodies, represent the state and defend democratic legality and the interests determined by law (Article\u00a0219.\u00ba<\/a><\/span>\/1, CRP). 3 \u2013 General Inspection of Health Activities (IGAS)<\/span><\/p>

The IGAS is a central service of the State's direct administration, endowed with administrative autonomy and integrated into the Ministry of Health. Its mission is to \"audit, inspect, supervise and develop disciplinary action in the health sector, with a view to ensuring compliance with the law and high technical standards of action in all areas of activity and the provision of health care, whether carried out by the services, establishments and organisations of the Ministry of Health, hereinafter referred to as the MoH, or those under its supervision, or by private entities, natural or legal persons, whether for profit or not\".
