{"id":7249,"date":"2024-09-07T16:39:57","date_gmt":"2024-09-07T15:39:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/?p=7249"},"modified":"2024-09-07T16:41:03","modified_gmt":"2024-09-07T15:41:03","slug":"programa-split-lanca-as-bases-para-a-expansao-no-ambito-do-dia-mundial-da-fisioterapia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/noticias\/programa-split-lanca-as-bases-para-a-expansao-no-ambito-do-dia-mundial-da-fisioterapia\/","title":{"rendered":"SPLIT programme lays foundations for expansion as part of World Physiotherapy Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<div data-elementor-type=\"wp-post\" data-elementor-id=\"7249\" class=\"elementor elementor-7249\" data-elementor-post-type=\"post\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-f992ae0 e-flex e-con-boxed e-con e-parent\" data-id=\"f992ae0\" data-element_type=\"container\" data-e-type=\"container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"e-con-inner\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-4bb36f1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"4bb36f1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>As part of the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/world.physio\/wptday\">World Day of Physiotherapy<\/a><\/span> (8th September), which this year focuses on the <strong>low back pain<\/strong> (low back pain) and the role of physiotherapy in its assessment and treatment, the Order of Physiotherapists, in partnership with the School of Health of the Polytechnic Institute of Set\u00fabal, is starting the expansion of the <strong>SPLIT programme<\/strong>which is aligned with the National Health Plan 2030 of the Directorate-General for Health.<\/p><p>SPLIT, which has already been developed and implemented in the Arr\u00e1bida Health Centre Grouping - ARSLVT, is an innovative programme in the field. <strong>assessment and treatment of low back pain<\/strong>.<\/p><p>It uses a screening tool that classifies individuals with episodes of low back pain into three categories of risk of developing persistent and disabling symptoms (low, medium and high), and which showed promising results in the pilot study.<\/p><p>In a<strong>\u00a0sample of around 500 users<\/strong> in this programme, 6 months after the initial consultation, was <strong>reduced, <\/strong><strong>at around 80%, the likelihood of having persistent and disabling low back pain.<\/strong><\/p><p>Also in terms of\u00a0<strong>prescription of complementary diagnostic means and medication,\u00a0<\/strong>this programme has enabled<strong>\u00a0reduce each of these indicators by around 30%.<\/strong><\/p><p>Recently, the <strong>SPLIT programme<\/strong> was selected for the <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/pt\/noticias\/programa-split-aprovado-para-integrar-pacto-saude-sustentavel-passus-2030\/\">1st phase of the Sustainable Health Pact 2030<\/a><\/span>as part of the process of implementing the <strong>National Health Plan 2030<\/strong>coordinated by the Directorate-General for Health, a collaborative and multisectoral process that guides and influences public policies and interventions with an impact on health in Portugal.<\/p><p>This initial implementation phase will focus on expanding the programme to other health units in Portugal that already have integrated physiotherapists.<\/p><p>To this end, in this next phase of the process, potential stakeholders will be identified and consulted, in various regions of the country, with the aim of <strong>train physiotherapists<\/strong>from <strong>first semester<\/strong> of <strong>2025<\/strong>This will ensure that more users can benefit from this innovative approach to treating low back pain.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As part of the celebrations for World Physiotherapy Day (8 September), which this year focuses on lumbago (low back pain) and the role of physiotherapy in its assessment and treatment, the Order of Physiotherapists, in partnership with the School of Health of the Set\u00fabal Polytechnic Institute, is starting to expand the SPLIT Programme, which is aligned with the Directorate-General for Health's National Health Plan 2030.<\/p>","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":7250,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[13],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-7249","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-noticias"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/7249","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/post"}],"author":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/users\/1"}],"replies":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/comments?post=7249"}],"version-history":[{"count":0,"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/posts\/7249\/revisions"}],"wp:featuredmedia":[{"embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media\/7250"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=7249"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categories?post=7249"},{"taxonomy":"post_tag","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tags?post=7249"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
