CONGRATULATIONS TO AOFA

The Association of Armed Forces Officers (AOFA) celebrated its 29th anniversary on 27 November.

The Order of Physiotherapists was present at the commemorative ceremony, which took place in Trafaria, with physiotherapist António M. F. Lopes representing the President of the Installation Commission. 

The commemoration included a "tribute to the organisations that have contributed to the effort to combat COVID-19". In this context, among the various health professionals, there was a global mention of Physiotherapists, with the award of a commemorative plaque to the representative of the Order of Physiotherapists, and specifically to military and civilian Physiotherapists working in the Armed Forces, with the award of a commemorative plaque to Physiotherapist Flórido Pereira.

The Order of Physiotherapists congratulates AOFA on its 29th anniversary and on the initiative.

Physiotherapist António Lopes took the opportunity to find out about the concerns of physiotherapists in the armed forces, in a fruitful dialogue with colleagues Arminda Cardoso and Flórido Pereira.

Results of the Satisfaction Questionnaire on the registration process with the ORDER OF PHYSIOTHERAPISTS - October 2021

As part of the Integrated Quality Assurance System for the services provided, the Installation Commission of the Order of Physiotherapists has drawn up a questionnaire on the registration process to assess the satisfaction of registered members.

After completing the enrolment process, members automatically receive the SATISFACTION QUESTIONNAIRE and are invited to respond anonymously and optionally.

We present results obtained up to the end of October 2021.

The Installing Committee of the Order thanks the participants for their contributions and opinions!

Registration with the Bar - a duty and an obligation

We emphasise the duty and OBLIGATION of all Physiotherapists to be registered with the Order. 

All Physiotherapists must be registered with the Order in order to carry out their activity. Don't be subject to possible sanctions under the Law and the Order of Physiotherapists.

Although the elections will be held next Monday, 15 November, and it won't be until tomorrow that physiotherapists will receive the SMS with their PIN/Voting Key, the LINK to the VOTING PLATFORM is now available.

The debates of the candidates for President of the Order of Physiotherapists

Os debates dos candidatos a Bastonário da Ordem dos Fisioterapeutas.

Last Monday, 1 November, the first debate took place between the two candidates for President of the Order of Physiotherapists, Physiotherapist António Lopes and Physiotherapist Emanuel Vital, moderated by journalist Marta Reis (deputy director of Jornal I and Jornal SOL). The event was broadcast live on the YouTube platform.

The second meeting will take place on 8 November at 18.30.

These debates are organised by National Association of Young People in Physiotherapywith the collaboration of the Installation Commission of the Order of Physiotherapists.

Further to the communications about the ELECTIONS to be held on 15 November, we would like to inform you about the last "step" - VOTING ENDS.

Having seen what VOTING BALLOTS look like, as well as how to make your choices, it's important to remember the following:

  • After clicking on "Insert Votes in Ballot Box" a screen will appear confirming that the votes have been successfully inserted. At this stage it is no longer possible to change your vote;
  • End of the voting process. You can close your browser window.

Still on the subject of the VOTING ACT on 15 November, and after having told you HOW TO VOTE, in the IDENTIFICATION OF THE VOTING ACT and the VOTING BALLOTS, it's now important to know and take into account some aspects of the VOTING itself:

-After choosing the options on the various ballot papers, you will have access to a summary of your vote. At this stage, you can still change the way you voted. To do this, click on "Change", return to the ballot paper you wish to change and choose the new option;

-After choosing all the options, click on "Insert Vote in Ballot Box";

-Only after clicking on "Insert Vote in Ballot Box" will the votes be taken into account;

Keep an eye on all the steps, we would like to point out that from today until 12 November, mailings will be sent out regarding the election campaign, the content of which is the sole responsibility of the respective List identified.

Election campaign
