The Electoral Act and Ballot Papers

O Ato Eleitoral e os Boletins de Voto

Following on from the communication about the 15 November elections, and after talking about the ways of voting - ELECTRONIC or IN-PERSON - and the process of receiving the e-mail with the VOTER ID and the SMS with the PIN / VOTING KEY (which will be sent on 13 November), it is now important to talk about the actual act of voting.

When entering the electronic voting platform, the Electoral Act is identified, the member of the Order will clearly see the logo of the Order of Physiotherapists and the description of the Election taking place;
Click on "Continue".
Three (3) ballot papers are then made available, for the three (3) bodies to be voted for - GENERAL COUNCIL / BASTONER / JURISDICTIONAL COUNCIL - with different colours and clearly indicated:

 - Statutory Body (top left)
 - Candidates' lists (in the middle of the ballot paper)
 - Blank Vote

Note: You can see the names of the candidates on each List by hovering your mouse over the button to the left of each option.

In the list of candidates, you must click on the Option you want to vote for, using your mouse or, in the case of a smartphone, your finger/digital pen.
Click on "Next" to navigate to the other ballot papers.

Electronic or in person, find out how to vote

Eletronico ou Presencial, saiba como votar

Elections will be held electronically (preferably) or in person.

By accessing the digital electronic voting platform, between 00:00 and 20:00 - mainland Portugal time (GMT).

On 13 November (Saturday), by email to votoeletronico@ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt an e-mail will be sent to all Physiotherapists listed in the Electoral Roll of the First Elections of the Order of Physiotherapists with a LINK and the VOTER ID.

The aforementioned LINK (for access to the platform) will also be available on the website of the Order of Physiotherapists.

Once you have accessed the electronic voting platform, you must enter your VOTER ID: Citizen Card (CC) number / Identity Card (ID) number / International Identification Card number. This number must be the one you have registered with the Order of Physiotherapists;

At the same time, on Saturday 13 November, Extreme Solutions will send you a PIN / Voting Key via SMS. With these two elements, you will be able to vote on 15 November between 00:00 and 20:00 (GMT).

If you have lost your PIN/Voting Key, you can request a new one in this window by clicking on "New PIN/Voting Key".

It will also be sent to your mobile phone by SMS. This action cancels the original PIN/Voting Key;

If you have any difficulties, you can click on "Contacts" and ask for help from the Helpdesk of the external company that provides the voting service.

There is also a "Help" button where all the steps for voting are described;

By clicking on "Vote!" you enter the Voting area, which we'll talk about in a moment.

If you choose to vote in person, this will take place at the headquarters of the Order of Physiotherapists, from 07:00 to 20:00 - mainland Portugal time (GMT).

For in-person voting and for those who do not have access to their PIN / Voting Key sent by SMS, sealed envelopes containing PIN / Voting Key will be available.

These envelopes will be numbered on the outside and when they are handed over to a member who requests it - and after confirming on the platform that that member has not yet voted - the number on the outside of the envelope is associated with the voting member on the voting platform, automatically deleting the original voting key previously sent.

The Order of Physiotherapists has contracted a company to provide an electronic voting service - Extreme Solutions (https://www.extremesolutions.pt/ ).

On the website of the Order of Physiotherapists (https://staging.ordemdosfisioterapeutas.pt/eleicoes/ato-eleitoral/ ), this and other issues relating to the 15 November elections are explained.

Resultados do Questionário de Satisfação sobre o processo de Inscrição na ORDEM DOS FISIOTERAPEUTAS

As part of the Integrated Quality Assurance System for the services provided, the Installation Commission of the Order of Physiotherapists has drawn up a questionnaire on the registration process to assess the satisfaction of registered members.

After completing the enrolment process, members automatically receive the SATISFACTION QUESTIONNAIRE and are invited to respond anonymously and optionally.

We present the first results obtained by the end of September 2021.

The Installing Committee of the Order thanks the participants for their contributions and opinions!

Bar Application Form

Formulário de Inscrição na Ordem

With regard to the length and detail required in the process of registering with the Order, the Installing Committee of the Order of Physiotherapists clarifies that the composition of the registration form was designed with the help of experts and tested on a sample of colleagues.

On the one hand, to guarantee the safety of users and, on the other, from an organisational point of view, to be able to understand in some detail who physiotherapists are, what educational profile they have and in what work contexts they work.

Emphasising that the Order also has a role to play in "providing services to its members with regard to professional practice, particularly in relation to information, professional training and technical and legal assistance", understanding the profile of its members is essential for future elected bodies to be able to consider the type of services to be developed, both in direct defence of each individual and in terms of public health.

The IC could have opted for a more simplified registration model, so that it could later deepen its knowledge of its members. This is an opportunity and an initial effort to gather an essential set of information to characterise Portuguese physiotherapists, which is fundamental for physiotherapists to take individual and collective responsibility in their daily practice.

We hope that with the future publicisation of the profile of members of the Order, colleagues will feel that their efforts in filling in the form have paid off.
