Today is World Physical Therapy Day!
"It is also a day to honour physiotherapists as health professionals", in the words of the President of the Portuguese Physiotherapists Order, António Lopes.

The Order is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant position. Applications must be submitted by 26 August.

The Board of Directors, and delegates of the Office of Studies and Planning, of the Ordem dos Fisioterapeutas, met on the 11th of July with representatives of the APTA - American Physical Therapy Association (President - Roger Herr, Vice President of Public Affairs - Aaron Bishop, CEO - Justin Moore and Director of Public Relations - Emilio Rouco), to start a collaboration to advance the profession in our country.

The President of the Order of Physiotherapists, António Lopes, and the President of the Order of Pharmacists, Helder Mota Filipe, met on 14 July.

Physiotherapists' professional cards have started to be sent by simple registered mail.

The 7th edition of the Porto International Hip Meeting (PIHM2022) took place on 1 and 2 July.

The President of the Portuguese Order of Physiotherapists, António Lopes, attended the presentation and launch of the book "A Compendium of Interventions for the Noninvasive Management of Ventilatory Pump Failure".

On 24 June, the Order of Physiotherapists met with SOCIFIN Portugal, the Portuguese branch of the Scientific Society of Invasive Physiotherapy.

Professional civil liability insurance is now in force, following the call for tenders organised by the Order of Physiotherapists.
