A Order of Physiotherapists (OF) met with the National Association of Young People in Physiotherapy(ANJF) on 21 September.
The purpose of the meeting was to address and discuss issues related to the target population of the association whose mission is "to represent Physiotherapy Students and Young Portuguese Physiotherapists (...)", namely the possibility of establishing special conditions regarding the payment of membership fees for those completing their degree. The Order reiterated its willingness to study the proposal as part of the preparation of the Budget proposal and the Activity Plan proposal for 2023.
The National Association of Young People in Physiotherapy also asked for clarification on the process of creation of the specialities board Physiotherapy professionals in Portugal, with António Lopes explaining the set of stages of this objective, which derives from this attribution of the Order of Physiotherapists, provided for in article 4 of the Statute of the Association of Physiotherapists. Representing the Order were the President and Member Afonso Neutel. The ANJF was represented by Beatriz Silva and António Martins, recently elected president and vice-president respectively, and treasurer Sofia Tavares.
